About the event
Our annual Black & Gold Scholarship Ball is the foundation’s signature annual fundraising gala and a must-attend black-tie affair held in the heart of Des Moines. The purpose of this event is to recognize the hard work, dedication, and ambition of our scholarship recipients. This event provides an intimate setting for supporters to meet and learn about the students who are making their academic dreams a reality thanks to the ZKL Education Foundation’s scholarships. Then, cap off the evening with a vibrant soiree filled with music, connection, and celebration.

Black Tie Outfits, including tuxedos and sophisticated evening gowns.
